Celebrate the 500-year anniversary of King Henry VIII’s charter to King’s Lynn, which gave the town important new powers and privileges.

  • See the original document and discover its history.
  • Learn about the feather quill pens, parchment and ink used to create it.
  • Have a go at Tudor writing yourself.
  • Your creation will be added to a special piece of artwork that will be stored in the Borough Archives... forever.
  • A free visit to Stories of Lynn Museum afterwards is included.
  • Suitable for ages 8-16. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Booking is essential. To book a free place click here.
  • Workshops include free entry for children aged 8-16, and one accompanying adult per child.

Additional adults can attend for the usual entry fee of £3.95 or £2.95 concessions.

Attendees

Tell us how many children and adults are coming to the event. There must be at least ONE accompanying adult, who will get free entry. You may have one adult for every child, who will also get free entry; additional adults can attend but must pay the usual entry fee.
