By car
We are located at King’s Lynn’s historic Saturday Market Place, the postcode for your satnav is PE30 5DQ. Pay and display parking is available on the Saturday Market Place – for further information about parking please see the Borough Council’s website here.
By rail
King’s Lynn Town Hall is a 10-minute walk or short taxi ride from the rail station. Direct trains run hourly (half hourly at peak times) to London King’s Cross and there is a connecting service to Peterborough and the Midlands.
By bus
King’s Lynn Town Hall is a 10-minute walk or short taxi ride from the bus station. Buses run to many places in West Norfolk as well as Peterborough, Wisbech, Dereham, and Norwich.
Opening times and prices
We are open every day from 10am to 4:30pm, with last admission at 4pm.
Visitors to Stories of Lynn on Tuesdays and Sundays can also take a free tour around the first floor of King’s Lynn Town Hall, which includes the magnificent 15th century Stone Hall, as well as the splendid Georgian Assembly Room and Card Room.
King’s Lynn Borough Archives are open Tuesday to Friday from 12:30pm to 4:30pm, with last admission at 4pm, and on the first Saturday of the month from 10am to 2pm, with last admission at 1:30pm.
